How Princess Polly Used Vop to Create a Shoppable Video Experience

This is how a popular clothing brand targeted to teenage girls and young women used Vop to integrate their TikTok onto their website to create a shoppable feed. Princess Polly is an Australian online women’s clothing boutique that sells trendy pieces. They ship all over the world. They currently have 1.7 million followers on Instagram and over 149k followers on TikTok.

In this case study, we’ll show how this ecommerce clothing store used Vop to leverage their user-generated content from TikTok to get sales conversions through their website by being able to tag products on their videos to complete the TikTok user journey.


Being a brand that is heavily focused on social media marketing, Princess Polly has amassed a large TikTok following. A lot of their content has been created by partnered influencers and fans of the company showcasing their outfits and doing quick hauls on the quick video-sharing platform.

Princess Polly was able to use those videos on their own TikTok page by reposting and also generating their own content. However, they were not able to use it for their website to showcase each product. Many curious followers were interested in the clothing pieces, however, due to the constraints of the platform they were unable to link their products to the video making it extremely inefficient for prospective customers to find on the website.

Instead, they comment the names of the styles under their TikTok videos which makes it difficult for the buyer to make the purchase since they have to exit the app and go on the website.


In order to fully take advantage of the TikTok content that Princess Polly had, they decided to use Vop, a Shopify app that allows you to embed your TikTok feed directly onto your Shopify store. Vop’s content management system allows you to tag products within the video for an interactive shopping experience directly on your store.


Princess Polly now has a dedicated page on their website for customers to shop the same looks seen on their TikTok account and their feed is featured on the homepage of the website.

With Vop’s Shopify App, they are now able to fully take advantage of their UGC content from TikTok by integrating it onto their ecommerce store.
